Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series
Hey Guys, Could not resist doing a video on the 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series sitting awaiting collection in the Hatfield showroom at the time we arrived to take home our new Panamera E Hybrid. Porsche Exclusive is Porsche’s in-house modifying department.
The ‘Turbo S Exclusive Series’. 500 will be made worldwide with around 25 coming to the UK and will be a v rare sight. For me this could be the perfect all-round everyday car and the attention to detail is terrific. So what makes this turbo S stand out? First there’s a power upgrade for the 3.8-litre bi-turbo flat-six, as clearly the 572bhp from the regular 911 turbo S was not sufficient. The Exclusive Series develops another 27bhp, so up to 599bhp. Torque remains at 553lb ft. However Porsche says performance figure are much the same as the regular turbo S with a 0-62mph figure of 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 205mph. We discovered with our GT4 that Porsche’s figures are habitually conservative.
You can choose almost any exterior colour for the Exclusive Series from a long list of colour combinations all with carbon fibre stripes inset into the bonnet, roof and engine cover. Look absolutely fantastic!! The Aerokit, available on all 911 Turbos, features a deeper front air dam and fins for the rear wing and front spoiler. There is also an all-new design for the 20-inch centre-lock alloys. Look through the spokes and you’ll find carbon ceramic brakes with calipers in black for the Exclusive Series, and carrying a gold Porsche logo.
All in all a complete and exclusive upgrade of an already well rounded and useable supercar. We want one!!
